Child sponsorship is an integral part of the fundraising activity at Al Noor. The children admitted into the training programme come from different nationalities and varied income backgrounds. The cost of training one child is approximately AED 50,000 but the fees charged are set at only AED 25,000. There are many parents who are not able to afford this fee due to various economic reasons and circumstances.
Al Noor set up the Child Sponsorship Programme to aid these parents as well as cover the costs of the training programme in order to ensure that the child’s training is not affected. We actively seek companies and individuals who would like to support Al Noor and these children by sponsoring them.
Over 20% of the children attending the Centre have been aided by this programme and it has helped tremendously in allowing them to garner the benefits of the services provided. The rising costs in Dubai have further increased the need for this programme and Al Noor continues to solicit the support of the community to ensure care and training reaches all streams of society.
