TRAINING ACADEMY

Objective

•       Developing local cadres in the field of specialized rehabilitation and educational services for People of Determination

•       Assisting the research and studies programs in the field of disability in the country and benefiting from the expertise of international and local cadres specialized in studies and research related to disability

•       Developing the community and cognitive awareness of the various disability issues and the special needs of people with disabilities.

•       Developing the inclusion concept of all kinds and levels for People of Determination (social, economic and educational inclusions for the persons with Disabilities) in all sectors of the country.

Staff Training

We are committed to the continuous training of our staff, to ensure that they are kept up to date with the latest developments in their fields. We want our staff to be leaders in their area of specialization and adopt the best practices available to help our students

We organize regular in-house training programs and our staff regularly attend external seminars, workshops and conferences. Online mode has evolved to address the trainings virtually which has provided more options to organize the same.

Parent Training

Al Noor is committed to empowering parents by equipping them with the knowledge they need to nurture and manage their child with disability. We offer training programs designed to educate parents with a range of intervention techniques. Our training focuses on how parents can help their children in their home-based routines.

Public Courses

Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT®): The Course to train personnel with skills required to practice Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The course is a 40-hour weekend course.


Inclusion Etiquette Training program: Inclusion etiquette refers to respectful communication and interaction with people who have disabilities and is the first step as a community to facilitate their right to dignity and equal access. The training will help the organization, the workforce and a community that is aware and practices respectful inclusion of People of Determination


Customized training for mainstreams educators: The training is planned with the host organization on inclusion strategies to address students with disabilities in mainstream classrooms. These trainings are tailor-made to address the needs of an organization with expertise of professionals from the field of education and rehabilitation
