Work Placement

The work Placement unit provides training to young adults to prepare and integrate into mainstream employment. The program works to coach the students with job readiness and transforming them to be contributing members of society and the family.


  • 18 years and above
  • Enrolled at the Centre for a minimum of one year

Selection and placement:

  • Eligible students undergo screening for work placement entry criteria
  • The student selected from the screening are placed in the Pre- Work Placement class
  • The student transition from Pre- Work Placement to Work Placement class


  • Pre Work Placement class: Minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years.
  • Work Placement Class: Minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years.

Graduation: The candidates who complete the Work Placement Training to be Job ready and are graduated to supported employment or Al Noor Internship Program (ANIP)

  • Supported Employment: The job-ready students are assisted by the Job Coach to source a suitable job. The Job coach solicits the employment and assist the candidate and support the employer with the interview, shortlisting, onboarding, and monitoring the placement
  • Al Noor Internship Program (ANIP): The students who fulfill the criteria of job readiness and are awaiting a suitable employment opportunity are enrolled in the program
